Among the many educational institutions set up by him, is the International Institute of Fine Arts (IIFA), established in May 2000 in Modinagar , India . The aim of the college was to provide quality education to students in the fields of art and design. Currently, IIFA has over 450 students studying degree courses in Fashion Design, Textile Design, Painting and Applied Art.  Under Mr. S.K. Modi's leadership, the college, today, has become a premier institution in the country and has associations with renowned universities of the world.

The organization has been working towards this cause in the most under-served areas in Kenya . Amongst its many health related activities, S.A.F.E. (India) will focus on taking performance, education and vital HIV information to communities in neglected areas that do not have access to services or conventional means of information dissemination.

Satish Kumar Modi is now in the process of writing a book entitled, ‘In Love with Death' (http://www.inlovewithdeath.com). The aim of this book is to help people overcome their fear of dying, to make them look at death positively, motivating them to live their lives filled with goodness, love and compassion.

Carrying the essence of his book, Satish Kumar Modi, is also producing a film, ‘Young Jesus: The Missing Years'. This film, being co-produced by the eminent British film producer, Kent Walwin, is based on the belief that Jesus Christ spent a large part of his youth in India searching for answers, seeking higher knowledge and imbibing from the learned. At the same time He had to face the challenges of being in a foreign land, mostly in harsh terrain, amongst alien people, who spoke different languages. Jesus finally emerged after seventeen years, as an enlightened person, ready to spread His message and teachings to the world.

In recognition of his outstanding contributions to industry, art and philanthropy, Satish Kumar Modi was invited by Mr. George Bush, the then President of U.S.A., for a breakfast meeting in Washington .

Modi was recently honoured as 'Ambassador for Philanthropy' on the website, launched by the British Government, 'www.ambassadorforphilanthropy.com'.  He has the distinction of being the only Indian to have been featured on this website - indeed, a unique platform where he has shared his thoughts and views on the numerous philanthropic causes and activities dear to his heart.
