with
MAYA ACADEMY OF ADVANCED CINEMATICS
|
| |
| UNIQUE PIONEERING JOINT INITIATIVE |
 |
IIFA & MAAC visualize that the best quality of animation work requires integration of education in selective manual graphic arts and computer aided 3D animation. This objective has led IIFA & MAAC to announce a two year course in which the first year education will be at IIFA, Modinagar NCR of Delhi and second year will be conducted at MAAC, New Delhi.
|
|
| First Year - IIFA |
- Manual graphic 2D & 3D design
- Graphic Design: Working & editing with still images.
- Animation Theory : Basic aspects, principles and methodologies of animation.
- Sketching & Drawing : Study of human anatomy and other related forms from nature for academic understanding in terms of line, tone, colour and texture along with rapid sketches to capture gestures and postures to develop the character in a story.
- Concept Development : Development of new concepts and ideas through text, graphics and visuals.
- Script writing : Complete setting of text, description and images in a sequential form.
- Story boarding : Complete sequence of drawings for a story.
- Character & Expression (portrait study) : Necessary to create characters of the story showing different emotions.
- Light & Camera : Study of different sources of light and their effects to create moods and drama in the frames to be captured by the camera.

|
|
| Second Year - MAAC |
- Adobe Photoshop CS: Colour theory, layout designing, concept development, collage, typography, interactive design, digital painting.
- Modelling : With modelling we can create 3D places and characters, objects and subjects of any type.
- Texture : It allows us to create texture - maps based on the appearance of the objects.
- Animation : Animation is based on the principle of human vision viewing a series of related still images in quick succession, letting the eye perceive them as continuous motion.
- Video Post : It provides composited 3D renderings of events, including the current scene, bitmap images, image processing functions and so on.
- Light and Camera : These are scene objects that simulate their real-world counterparts. Light provides lighting for the geometry of a scene. Camera frames the scene, providing a controllable point of view.
- Particles : It is useful for a variety of animation tasks. They are employed when animating a large number of small objects using procedural methods for example - snow, stream of water or an explosion.
- Dynamics : It refers to a system of controls that generate keys to produce animation that simulate real world physics, for example - a bouncing ball.
- Reactor : Reactor is a plug-in for 3D animation that allows animator and artist to easily control and simulate complex physical scenes.
