IIFA - Art Show

IIFA had sponsored, in collaboration with Times Foundation & Tao Art Gallery, Mumbai, an innovative Art Show on the channel CNBC India called "IIFA Art Show". The show conceptualised and created by Mr. Satish Kumar Modi, was a unique programme in itself with both performing as well as visual artists coming together on TV. It was anchored by the eminent artist Malika Sarabhai. We, at the institute feel proud to have hosted under our banner the show, which was held for the first time in the history of any Art institution in India. |

| This big event commenced from 29th March, 2003 and continued for the next three months. The eminent visual artists who participated in the show were Mr. S. H. Raza, Mr. Krishan Khanna, Mr. Akbar Padamsee, Ms Anjolie Ela Menon, Mr Satish Gujral and others. The performing artists who participated in the show were Ustad Zakir Hussain, Mr Jagjit Singh, Mr Shiv Kumar Sharma, Ms Lilette Dubey and others. Each visual artist presented one of his / her paintings with description before the camera. |
