The programme in Fashion Design emphasizes technical and design aspects of the industry with special consideration given to the needs of independent, innovative fashion designers who are also given an exposure to the apparel production and fashion industry.

FEATURES BUILT INTO THE CURRICULUM OF FASHION DESIGN

Craft Documentation: Students in small groups undertake a 3-week craft survey and record the country's age old craft costumes and accessory tradition and interact directly with the craftsmen.

Industry Internship: 2nd year students are required to taken a 6-week Industry Internship programme. The main objective of this exercise is to enable the students to get an insight into the real working environment.
